oRipa Screen Recorder allows you to select the save folder, define Audio and Video Codec settings so that you can have optimum experience although every selected resolution does not work with every Codec, but the default resolution of 640x480 works well with any Codec .
Mouse cursor and some window transition effects are not visible in Vista as it does not fully support Vista but on XP it works fine with no problems. You can easily record your own voice along with any music that is playing from your computer easily.
It has a super easy interface that even a newbie to computers can understand quickly, but the Codec details need some technical knowledge about compression and Codecs , given the ease of use and the small file size of recorded video, it sure stands out among other such similar softwares.
